Mountains Out of Mole Hills

Mountains Out of Mole Hills

A Poem by dangerbooze

Did I disappoint you today?
It was a small misunderstanding
I know you struggle
When we've all told you

That you
Well
You suck at explaining things
Especially
When it comes to simple things

I know you can't help it
I should be used to it
Should be
Should be able to ignore
The shove aside

But
For all my no-holds-barred
I'm my own woman attitude
A little bitty part of me
Got hurt just a little

But I won't say anything
Because then it would be my turn
To blow another situation
Completely out of proportion

And though I know you try
To spare me from further harm
I feel it all the same

So I smile
And I smile
And force a laugh

Because really
It's nothing important
Just a little argument
Packed with so much frustration
And we didn't mean any of it

Because really
It's nothing.

People can say it's nothing, when clearly, it's NOT nothing. Ooh, the double negative...

I hate when people say it's nothing, and you can't get them to talk it out! nicely written.

About
I'm a lazy writer. I write what I feel when I feel like it. But to be more specific, I have a constant case of writer's block about pretty much every thought that I can think of or even consider. .. more..
