The title is something my ex boyfriend came up with. And now I'm thinking he was onto something...

You silly

ignorant

arrogant fool

I warned you

You know it

personally

Do you not?

You remember

the rage

the utter loathing

the seething

endless

pit 

The result of Nature

is such a terrible

frightening

thing to behold

The Great Mother

taught me many things

especially

how to hide

I hide my affection

behind cruel

sinister

sneers of 

utter 

and 

complete revulsion

You remember

do you not?

When my eyes darkened

the chains of our

fragile

helpless

tender friendship

Became a noose around your neck

I forgive you

just this once

But never forget

oh you silly

pathetic

simpleton

Heaven forbid

you betray my trust

that noose 

you struggle to escape from

shall shatter

become slivers of razors

Every cut

inflicted on that

trusting

innocent

body of yours

will signify your end

Every spike

of pure agony

a reminder to you

of what it is

that I

unfortunately

personally

mourn for

The loss of a friend

too blind to see the damage 

that remains on 

a desperate soul

just wanting to be able

to trust once more.
