Caged DesiresA Poem by dangerboozeI respect you Your decisions Your arguments But today Of all days I despise you I ask for so little I tend to your home So this one favor I wish for I discover a horrible truth You deny me my one and only joy Where I find comfort I see only nightmares Incandescent globes of memory Now deformed spheres Bleeding the black of misery I despair Loathe am I To admit you are right A friend I once thought Now little more of an acquaintance Seething is my heart The red haze of rage Veils my eyes From the harsh light of reality You take from me Just this once or Perhaps even more Venom are my words You are prey in my eyes Steal my happiness again And annihilate your existence I promise you retribution Dare No, even think To challenge me once more I will personally Gladly Enjoyably Deliver your execution.
