This is a lot like Lost. Think of it as free writing.

"
Stay with me. Please, please don't go. I know it's your time to move on, but please don't leave me behind. I only just found you. Found what I really feel for you. I can't go back there...the place where I wallow in regret and wish for a glimpse of hope. Don't go!
I need you. You know my independence. My fears. I won't hide them from you...not anymore. Hiding who I am creates a chasm of pointless arguments between us. I'm sorry, so very sorry. I don't mean any of it. Not the things I say when I'm frustrated. I'm sorry.
If you really have to leave..please just leave. I don't want this anymore. It's agonizing to know you'll just disappear. I don't want it! None of it...stop it, please. What have you done to me? I feel like a ghost of my former self. I don't need you! Stop making me need you...stop my memories of you. Please make them go away.
I'm sorry! Let me go. I'm sorry I held you back. You're unhappy now...you are! I see the longing in your eyes. Just go! It's both our time, please let's just go. Together. We can go together. Don't say it! Don't say you love me now. Save it for later...when we meet again. We will meet again, I know it.
Won't we?

I had just finished watching the last episode of an anime called Angel Beats! and it brought me to tears.

This is beautiful, I can easily imagine it as being a strained love/hate relationship or some kind relationship where an addiction is involved. I really enjoyed reading the poem. I love the urgency that I sense in the voice of the poem. I also like the form of the poem too.

About
I'm a lazy writer. I write what I feel when I feel like it. But to be more specific, I have a constant case of writer's block about pretty much every thought that I can think of or even consider. .. more..
