AftermathA Poem by dangerboozeSomething I found from an old little book of attempted poetry in high school. It wasn't filled with many fond memories as you can see.Oh, to dream a little dream But you've kept yours buried Locked and shunned Like the love you once carried Hold me tight Destroy me one smile at a time Smother me with emotion That fury divine Push me away Down into that cold, mournful place What better way to forget A much beloved face.
