Unknown

Unknown

A Poem by Dani Todorova

I used to know how danger felt
and the way it burnt my skin
until you came

I used to know but now it feels so unknown

Every now and then
I try to remember
but all you do is make me forget
I could tell the waves still take you away
on your own place

I keep on trying
to open the door
that you have locked so long ago
but darling you just swallowed the key
you ain't gonna' let me in

It's so unknown
but I could swear
the picture of you would never fade away
it's like a portret of Dorian Grey...

though I know you can be hurt in any way
