TO MY BELOVED

Darken is the night, but brighten are the stars upon my gaze on thy visage
truly thou hath marvelous object of wonder
akin to the rarest of crystals and gems
perfection is thy visage,so gracious it upsets them
and of whom I may speak
being the subject of their envy
gloom upon their homes if it was atrocities they seek
I shall caress thy skin gently ,if I was what thy desires
become thy sword and shield upon what may perspire
truly thine image is an object to inspire
and I by thy side flourish upon thou what thy might require
for thou shan't forget
even if thou falls to depravity
and thou embraces debauchery
I shan't move a step from thy sight
for thou hath my beloved
