Guided By Hope

Guided By Hope

A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

For my son and also to give others hope

"

Death is a funny thing you know

Some believe its the end
Some believe its the beginning
Some believe its the true bubonic plague
What is it to you
No need to tell me
Just think about it
This is the fuel of what you are guided by
I am guided by hope
A hope of resurrection
Of life everlasting
No more pain
No more tears
No morning
No more outcry
The former things have passed away
This is what the bible tells us
This is what it means
To live again
To see my best friend
Seth Maurice Gardner will be missed
Not forgotten
Not thought of has looking down over me
He was 4
He was my boy
He is somewhere better
He is not in the air
He is in Jehovah's memory
That is where he is waiting for me
So bring on the death
Bring on the end of this system of things
This world ruled by Satan
Bring me to the new world
Where I will see my Mother
My Uncle
My Son
Waiting for me there
Death is funny
But it is not just the end
It is not the just Beginning
It is the start of my hope
The beginning and the end
Of what I only see in my dreams
Life everlasting on a paradise earth.

Without God's promise I do not think many of us could hang on to this life and want to carry on until he comes for us..thankfully you know where your loved one went..so many pass over and those left behind fear for they do not know if they are with God or not..May God bless you at thia time..Valentine

wow im so sorry for your loss!!! such a beautiful poem. people who are ready, and know what awaits for the believers in the afterlife, we know, that death should be nothing to fear. bring it on because i know that what is waiting for me is so much better than what is here on earth. i have friends and family in heaven waiting for me. i would leave this world behind in a heartbeat just to meet my maker and be with my nana
