I dreamed

I dreamed

A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

Its been a while since my last post. Some much going on and so little free time.

"

I had a dream of you last night
I've dreamed of you every night
For 25yrs you have been my dream of comfort
Not one of fright
You were the voice that muffled in my new born ears
Has I slept Wanting to see your tears of joy
You were in my dreams giving me an encouraging cheer
You were in my dreams guiding me through tears
Timeless you have now become
Shedding light only meant for one
I was your pride
I was your final joy
Now that your gone
I keep my tears deep inside
Some say your in haven
Others say in hell
I know the truth
That I always tell
You are my lullaby
You are my dreams
The ones who think differently
Can all go to hell

This is written for my Mom. She died when I was 13 around this time. And to this day no matter what dream I have she is in the background. Review, Rate Comment. But not on how the poem is written unless it is grammar.

I love the last line "The ones who think differently can all go to hell" it makes me feel encoraged to stick up for myself. As I sometimes just ignore peoples negative opinions. It has made me feel I should stand my ground and not let anyone push me a side. Overall I like the picture and the blue font is boyish it describes who you are a lot.

"The ones who think differently Can all go to hell" Best lines, I think, in the whole poem. Loved it, and I'm apologizing in advance for not being able to review your work for so long. Forgive me? Oh awesome picture, you seem to always find an amazing picture to tie your poems together. Amazing.

This reminds me a lot of my grandma and when she died I was the only person there with her. It was about 3 years ago I was 13 as well and she was truly a wonderful woman. I love your word choice through your poetry.

This is sad. I am sorry you lost your mother. I wouldn't be able to live on without mine. We may have arguments all of the time. I love her though. I thought this was touching though. I liked it. Thanks for sharing. :()
