Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

All most out of emotions...

"

Why have you done this?
Why have you left me?
You told me you never would.
You told me you understood.

How could you leave me?
How could you betray me?
You told everyone you would not go astray.
You told everyone you would be here till your dying day.

Why am I your martyr?
Why do you continue to run farther?
You told me I was not like the rest.
You told me I was the best.

Why have you lied?
Why have you made me cry?
You made me a fool.
You made me your tool.

Why did you do this?
Why have you put me to the test?
You made me your final test.
You killed me, just like the rest.

This writing of yours is so raw that it actually shows how vulnerable you are. It's like the questions of a small child who's new to the world- curious and innocent. Great write.

Beautiful. I know these feeling a little too well and have been told much of the same. I don't understand sometimes why guys like us lose and those of the abusive, cheating, pompous types always win. Very nice write.
