Lullaby

Lullaby

A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

Written for my kids, Seth, Aiden and Serena. Ages 3, 1yr 6 months, and 5 months. Aiden has been diagnosed with R.A.D. (Reactive Airway Disease) He had to go to the hospital yesterday. He is fine now.

"
Hush now Its time say goodnight
Don't let the bed bugs bite
A song is to keep you from fright

This light will stay on all night
A kiss on your right cheek for blessed sleep
You are surely one of the meek

A kiss on your left cheek for you are truly sweet
Don't cry now as I say goodnight
I love you with all my might

I will see you in the morning
But I will watch over you all night
Love you my sweet child
So now I say goodnight
