The Simplest ManA Poem by Daniel GardnerJust another spur of the moment poem.
The simplest man can be a Father
A husband Or a friend But that alone does not make him a simple man Usually always taken for granted But all was wants respect And demands it He demands it by his stance By his works Even by his romance He goes to work without a care All he truly wants is to get there He never cares about his hair His Clothes His smile He is fearless and takes on all challenges He does his best even if no one is there He lives He Breathes He cries on his knees He helps you in a jam He helps you move He helps you prepare To be truly honest The simple man is not simple at all He is complex but never misunderstood His family His friends Never want for anything The simplest man will always be there © 2010 Daniel GardnerAuthor's Note
