Emote

A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

Just a late night thought that came in my head after a long writing brake.

"

Piles of decayed feelings stifle my mind.
Numbing every sense to the core.
Never have I felt this way before.
Where do I begin?
Where ever did I end?

Feeling like a new born babe,
I open my eyes to the blinding light of what seems like a new day.
But like a withered old man,
I take my last breath has my body fails.

There is no plan for this new day.
There is no emotion I can convey without hope.
Even though hope is starring me in the face.

My favorite type of poetry. Open the door to questions and things to ponder.
"Where do I begin?
Where ever did I end?"
I believe all of us feel frustrated. We need to find reason and purpose to stand strong and be alive. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
