Dandelion Dream

Dandelion Dream

A Poem by Dandelion Dream

A movie in front of us
A sad display to see
They won't understand
For us it's just a dream

They share their lives in reality
The one we used to live
A glimpse of understanding when we were there
But all in all not much worth

Sometimes it gets to you
Things you see but never could
Desires you had but always lost
Everything locked away in cold

Find someone to make the best out of it
Because better it wont get if you dont set it that way
Be confident in who you are and your beliefs
Bring yourself out and be found by the ones written in destiny

We aren't sure when the movie ends
So don't wait too much to speed up truth
Watching alone is a fine choice too
But keep and make it good

What happens after the credits
That is something we cannot know
In silence we are waiting
Holding on our inside world

Be your dream, and make the wind blow

Spectacular use of imagery and metaphors.
Wise words - "Be your dream, and make the wind blow"

I've often thought of life as a movie too. The movie of my life.
Good parts, bad parts... All part of life. I like this one.

I enjoyed the metaphor of a movie which ran throughout. I also found it very clever how the last line ties the title together. I have one suggestion
Things you see but never could
Desires you had but always lost
Everything locked away in cold
The word things and everything are vague and I feel like more precise word choice could improve this stanza. What do you think?

Thank you for taking time and reading.
That line there is indeed where it got a but vague. I .. read more
I liked the thoughts leading to a wise ending.
"Be your dream, and make the wind blow"
I agree. Know the free and less traveled roads. Hold dreams and know laughter. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
