Tonight's Road

Here we are, once again
Sitting on a cliff, with our minds high in the sky
We stare across the sea, aimlessly with no direction 
There is no timeline, there is no need to feel fear
The thoughts are beyond beautiful, everything is shared
Nothing can be heard, the breaks go loose
We start to dive through the clouds, through the surface deep into the sea
We feel no bounds, only free

All worlds and dreams, they seem to line up piece by piece
It feels like going backwards, in order to shoot back forward with fierce
They start to grow as shadows inside of you, ready to take over all
Your body falls down into the darkness, strangled without escape
The bad dreams take over, the beginning of an eternal sleep

The true thoughts, they are still alive out there
Like a dream…
Light is nowhere to be seen, but it’s enough to hope finding it in the shore
So we keep on with the sail, the sail that seems to have no end
The body feels drowned, yet it still stands
It will be fine...

Dream by dream, crawling as shadows through the body
A close taste of everything, time slowing down
Frozen seconds of understanding, and a lot of moment falling
But in the end, whenever the body may hit the ground
There's a chance, a chance for the person to be out there
Holding your hand
So it’s worth, to take the chance
Because you know, it will be your other half
