You Told MeA Poem by TashaA comparison unlike no other.
You told me
You were unlike the rest, It seemed like you were A new flavor of candy From the outside covering All shiny and perfect, But then I tasted you... And once I tasted you You turned out to be The knock-off version A complete opposite Of the original And who I thought you were You're mean Heartbreaking, And someone I don't Want to be around But there's something In this candy That keeps bringing me back... Is it your smile? Your laugh? Your charm? You're sweet when you want to be And sour the next, You told me you were different But it looks like I'm back Where I started... Looking for that one special Piece of candy...
