Packaged Away

Packaged Away

A Poem by Tasha
"

Pushed aside and not being able to express yourself.

"
Packed together closely,
No room to breathe
No way for me to become my own
Thrown in with the rest
Together we are packed away,
With no room left to let
Our personalities shine through
Squeezed together to get as much
In as we can
Packed away with no sense of
Identity,
No purpose,
Stacked in a storage closet
Locked away from the world

So often, it seems that we are packed away in a closet or lost in throgs of people. Suddenly, sometimes, a word, gesture, or a smile will come back to greet us; then, we know that we are very much alive. I loved your poem and I loved your thoughts. You are not "locked away from the world," because you are very much a part of it, adding all that you can to the beauty of it. This was a very well written and clearly understandable piece of writing; well executed and strong!

This is very well written. Your sentiments are shared by a majority of people, I think. Every once in a while, I'm tempted to say "MOO", when I board a train or bus...
