When Life Gives You Lemons

When Life Gives You Lemons

A Poem by Tasha
"

ummm lemonade. lol

"
When life gives you lemons
You make lemonade,
But what do you do when there is no lemons?
You make do with what you have,
You take every chance
Every opportunity,
To make your life better
Every lemon is a missing piece to the puzzle,
A key ingredient in what you thirst for
When life gives you lemons
You make lemonade
Even if you don't have lemons
You use the ingredients to make something better
As you sit on your porch and think about memories
While sipping lemonade

Love this old saying though I prefere to add mine to my diet coke or squeeze them over fish lol, I often feel we should all learn to enjoy lemons and smile instead of grimace as the sourness of flavour imitates our lives at times and these are the times we more than ever need to smile. Keep em' coming

I really liked this poem, its sort of inspiring, you're basically saying you have to make do with what you have, and be happy with it :) Great job!

The last part was kind of confusing, as it drops off to having lemonade, when you first didn't have lemonade. But in all reality, this poem is the perfect reflection of what to do when you can't have what you want, and how to get it! I like the part that says the lemons are the missing pieces to the puzzle, it just sounds like it came from The Matrix!

Kudos on this one! Just try to be a little more clear on your intentions. I give this piece a 99.
