Light Shines Through

Light Shines Through

A Poem by Tasha
"

I think everyone has good in them.

"
Everyone has good in them,
But its up to them to find it
Within themselves
No matter who you are
Or where you come from,
Light shines through
Even in darkness
When everyone else sees
The beast in you,
There's a speck of light
Desperately trying to be seen
So everyone can see you for
Who you are
So everyone can see the real you
When light shines through

Some people are afraid to show kindness and be brave and to test life. Heart brake and pain can block the doors to life and love. I like the desire in this poem. Your words are true. Most people have kindness and love to share. Thank you for a excellent poem.

Thank you so much. That truly means so much to me.
Yes! I agree wholeheartedly! Thank you so much for writing and posting this. (Excellent piece, by the way!) Sometimes I can't explain to people why I'm friends with this one person who often treats people wrongly. You very nearly captured what I mean to say. I should just have them read this poem XD Sorry getting a little over-excited here. But seriously, thank you for writing in this. It's going in my favorites!

Many people do not want to show who they truely are because they are afraid of what people will think of them. It takes a special someone, however, to help guide them to that special time when they can show their true selves and not be afraid to do it. Very well done.

Insightful and clear, the idea is well stated and defended. There is one thing I would do to improve the flow of the piece though. I would add punctuation: commas, periods, maybe even a few semi colons. Even though the flow is a little strained this piece works well. Great job! ^w^

Nice! And I totally agree: everyone has the capacity for good and bad; it's up to each of us to determine which we'll choose and which we'll show.

My only complaint is with the colored text. I know you were trying to show light and dark but the colors give me a head ache. :(
