Tattoo

A Poem by Tasha
"

First two lines from Jordan Sparks's song Tattoo.

"
"No matter what you say about love"
"You keep coming back for more,"
And you've got the marks to prove
You still want to be in love,
Each tattoo is a timeline of your past,
A pertinent   memory
That reminds you of how far you've come
In your life,
A symbol of who you are
Or who you use to be
A tattoo that holds the Key to
Love, joy and happiness

I loved it. Not many people realize that this is how people feel about their tattoos. Its a dedication to their lives. That's why I plan to get tattoos.

Its beautifully penned, though I do have some issue with the length of some of the lines. It seems to me that you were trying to keep them a certain length, but two lines are just kind of...well... short. It looks weird. Also it seems like you could expand some of these thoughts.

Nice use of metaphor here! The language and the text together convey such a powerful message. Unlike my own writing, I am appalled by the amount you can say in such few words. It's also great how you were able to incorporate a song into the beginning of your work. Very nice work! Kudos to you and good luck with your writing!
