Toxic Love

School time 8th grade word of the day: toxic.

It started with you holding my hand,

Then kissing and touching

Then the real you came out,

The yelling, the screaming

Whatever happened  to love?

Whatever happened  to forever and always?

Toxic, toxic is what you are,

Toxic poison is what you caused in this relationship

Deathly stares,

Deathly threats,

Its time to leave

And find a new medicine

One that doesn't stab at my heart

Toxic is a great word for it. If the relationship you are in doesn't make you feel better about yourself and make you a better person because of it, causing instead, the upset and pain of feeling worse, it is definitely time to move on. Many will relate to this.

Very good emotion. I really hate it when couples fight. I can't ever see myself doing that to my girlfriend, or another thing for that matter. It just astounds me that people can be so terrible.
