Rainbowed Emotions

Rainbowed Emotions

A Poem by Tasha
"

Colors of the rainbow... and some not in the rainbow.

"
Every second of the day
Evokes a different emotion,
A different way of living,
A different meaning of life

Red: confidence needed
to go through the day,

Orange: vitality with endurance
to keep me moving forward,

Yellow: wisdom and intellectual energy
to help get through life's toughest decisions,

Green: well being of myself and others,

Blue: youth in all forms that can be seen in,

Purple: royalty to myself and what I believe,

Indigo: meditation time everyone needs to be
at peace with themselves,

Pink: love and beauty that people need to see
within themselves,

White: purity in things we want to make of ourselves

Gray: maturity, time to grow up and become what
we're meant to be

My emotions are clear right after a storm
They shine bright
When everything  else use to be dark

I like how you describe the colors but I couldn't read white at all and had a lot of trouble reading the yellow. Maybe you could put something about what those said in your author's notes to still keep what you wanted done with the poem and yet let the reader understand. Keep on penning.

A very nice, colorful and different read. Nice colors, and enjoyable. I had no problem reading the colors, all I had to do was highlight over it. I enjoyed these lines:
"My emotions are clear right after a storm
They shine bright"
... nice ending.

Great poem. My favorite stanza is the last one. It is strong and pulls the whole idea together.

I loved the way you conveyed emotion through color...it came out very nice. Only yellow and white were difficult to see but, the meaning behind your colors was great!

This is lovely ( though yellow is a bit difficult to read and white is near impossible). It is very creative and nicely thought out. I especially appreciate the positivity of your last stanza:)
