Painting A Picture

Do I still want to be apart of the picture?

Everything has to go your way,

Either your way or the highway...

You paint a picture

To make me look like the bad guy,

Its you that's the fake

Always lying to get what you want

But someone will see through that paint,

Because you're just like watercolor...

See through

Always having to add extra coats

To cover up your lies...

You're painting a picture

But I'm not apart of it anymore....

Amazing poem! I really enjoyed reading this one. I liked how you used the word painting to describe the constant lies this person spewed to make you look bad, and to describe his charlatan ways. Very touchy subject and it was described beautifully. You never cease to amaze me with your writing.
