If Love Was A Currency

If Love Was A Currency

A Poem by Tasha

If love was a currency
you'd always be close to me
I would exchange every
penny I have to
express my love to you,
I wouldn't be frugal with you
I'd learn to save you
and only spend you
when I need you the most
I'd keep you in the bank
of my heart
with deposits  of hugs and kisses

You're right, this is somewhat cute. I'm not trying to be hard on you or anything but your first two lines started off strong but it confused me a little when you said you'd "exchange every penny" -- I know what you mean but I wanted it to stay strong. I expected more. It could use a little more tweaking, though. I liked it, though nonetheless.
