Comparing two completely different things.

Life's like school,
there are people
to help you,
and people to
hurt you..

Life's like school
because
there are clubs
to support you,
in your time of need,
and jealous
people
that  leave you
high and dry

Life's like school
because its
crazy
and unpredictable...
you just have to
go along with
the rules...

The rules of life..

There's no pamphlet
of life,
to tell you how
to live,
only crowded
hallways...

In this mixed up
word
we
call
our
lives...

A very true poem. Life is life, and life is like school. I reallly like this. The comparison is very supportive, and you can clearly tell the frustrating times in our lives. Life is quite cruel sometimes, but stand on the other side of the spectrum, everything could look different. It is yet simple, frank and true. I also love the way how you use school with life to bring out the entire key point of the topic. An magnificent piece.

This is sooo true! They dnt prepare you for rl life tho in school. They just send you out. This is like school. No one prepares you for bullies or homework or sadness and drama and boys. You have to learn all by yourself.

I like this poem! It's so true. I do think it could have had more feeling. You're just listing reasons why life is like school. Also, it's rather choppy. But in all, I like it. Thanks for sharing!
