Life's Like School

Life's Like School

A Poem by Tasha
"

Comparing two completely different things.

"
Life's like school,
there are people
to help you,
and people to
hurt you..

Life's like school
because
there are clubs
to support you,
in your time of need,
and jealous
people
that  leave you
high and dry

Life's like school
because its
crazy
and unpredictable...
you just have to
go along with
the rules...

The rules of life..

There's no pamphlet
of life,
to tell you how
to live,
only crowded
hallways...

In this mixed up
word
we
call
our
lives...

A very true poem. Life is life, and life is like school. I reallly like this. The comparison is very supportive, and you can clearly tell the frustrating times in our lives. Life is quite cruel sometimes, but stand on the other side of the spectrum, everything could look different. It is yet simple, frank and true. I also love the way how you use school with life to bring out the entire key point of the topic. An magnificent piece.

The last portion of the poem could be its own. I also think the repetition of "life's like school" is unnecessary but nevertheless, this was a very nice read. thank you for sharing.

It's true dear friend. Life is almost like a school. We learning different and new lessons from our life, just like in the school. And there will so many people to help us, support, and at least there should be one who cheat us too. You done it very well dear friend. Enjoyed the reading.

I like the idea, but I feel like the line breaks make it choppy in places. Keep working at it! Maybe use some images to illustrate your point as well.

The words are true in the poem. It is sad some people look for weakness and error in another. Better to be kind and try to help. Good words and friendship can change a life. Sometime we need to set the example. Nothing good to say. Say nothing. Be kind and stop rumors. Hard to stand up for the right things. Thank you for the strong poem. Open the doors to many good questions. A excellent poem.

School is a pale shadow of life, a pre-cursor. You go to school to learn how to exist in the real world not just to learn Maths, English etc...

Not a bad comparison but I feel that with you being so young you do not have the life experience to properly express this at this time. In 5 years that will all change.
