For Creative Poetry Group. Had to use the words: affection, flame, soothe, clinch, coliseum, and bounty.
The competition is getting intense with only four couples left.. its anybody's game...
We must treat each dance like it's our last... let our affection for one another take its course, while we soothe the audience with our Waltz, and let a simple spark.. turn into a flame in our Salsa,
While trying to clinch our spot into the season finale, to get the bounty... that mirrored ball
Performing in the coliseum was nerve wrecking at first, but now its like an everyday thing.. I bask in the audiences cheers
Four more couples left... and I am... " The Silent Assassin "
This was for the Creative Poetry Group, and our words this week were: affection, flame, soothe, clinch, coliseum, and bounty.
I wrote this about Dancing With The Stars because that is the best show ever!
I love everybody, but Hines Ward and Kim Johnson have something special and I think they will win... after all he is " The Silent Assassin "
There picture is dancing in Guilty Pleasures week to "End of the Road" by Boys 2 Men. Enjoy.

I try to avoid watching shows like this out of masculine pride and British stoicism one might say.
However, I have been 'forced' to watch in the past by certain lady friends.
You little Fandango captures the essence of the experience, I would say for all participating, until at the end you express it is a certain person/couple and their point of view.
All in all a good write.
suspense building, you captured this well, I tried Salsa once, I became the comedian of the group, they gave up on trying to teach me. You have to try everything once. Enjoyed the experience very much, just like the priviledge of reading your poetry. Thankyou.
not much of a "reality" sort of show like "dancing" or "idol" or "talent" or "survivor" etc etc...though i must say you've done a great job here of conveying the tenacity these couples have during competition
