We Live And We Learn

We live and we learn
that life goes on,
even after dumb decisions


We live and we learn
that things aren't always
meant to be
even though we think  they should,
to live in the "moment"

We live and we learn
that some people aren't meant to
stay in our lives forever
because they bring nothing but misfortune
when they are down in the dumps...
they  want to take anyone they can
down with them

We live and we learn
to accept the fact that
not everyone is going to like us,
they will find some fault to have with you

We live and we learn
that people need to grow up
and stop acting like children...
well...  there are  children that act better than that....

It's a good idea, but I find the flow a little off on this one.
Also at the start you have the line:
even after dumb discussions

Would "decisions" fit better or did you intend "discussions"?

They are down in the dumps could be shortened to They are miserable or They are never happy - this can help with the flow.

When I write, I read out loud what I write (in poetry, stories are different entirely). This can help get the cadence correct.

An inspirational poem. Impressive and relvant. Some adults are acting sillier than the kids did, this one make me chuck, agree with this point too. It's really significent to learn from our mistakes, admit it and get to the correct way. Really well written.
