We use to talk everyday, whatever happened to that? its like our love for each other got lost in an email its like I'm trapped in the spam filter because we never spend time together I hate being lost, and the thought of losing you is terrifying its like never entering your in-box and I'm left waiting to be opened waiting for our love to come back because its missing... in the world of emails
I like this very nicely crafted poem very much Ta'shandra. Feelings well penned by your poetic pen so artistically. Lovely use of metaphor to describe a love which is ending - all the different phases of love gone through and excellently described in your poem. Nice silk smooth flow to the poem, which is so well expressed. Thank you for sharing Ta'shandra. Blessings always......
I feel that my day was severely improved from reading this. I loved the medium that you chose to express the feelings of abandonment. Beautifully done.
I liked this, especially the way you described yourself as being designated to the spam, it was a good expression, I usually get designated to the back burner! ha ha.
This poem is so wonderfully and emotionally written it actually impressed me greatly. I have felt this way many times in the past and I believe you have captured the essence of loss. This is a wonderfully written and talented poem and you have shown that you are a wonderful writer! 100/100
i think this is an excellent analogy of the feeling of being "dissed" by one whose attentions you desire. sweet, personal and to the point. terrific write!
WOW so cool. You've got some kind of knack for coming up with the most interesting analogies. I wonder if the email connection is a comment on the almost invisible nature of human interaction these days, even when that interaction takes its place as "love." Either way, got me thinking. Keep it up!
This is excellent!!
The analogy is perfect, and you show this through your multiple comparisons between the two ideas.
Not only is the idea behind the poem masterful, but the piece itself is also very emotionally biting--I can feel the despair, the helplessness, bleeding through the words.
Very, very well done.
I find e-mails to be a very unreliable form of communication. It is quite easy for the internet to go down and the other person cannot go on their e-mail, or for the website to have some issues, or for it to be stuck in the spam filter. So it is quite easy to imagine that love could 'be like an e-mail'. Great write!
