Why can't Sleeping Beauty sleep?

I lay here night after night,
tossing and turning
wondering if I should throw it all away,
and  throw in the towel?
or should I stay?
and just turn the other cheek?
while pretending like I don't see
whats happening right in front of me
I lay here thinking about the good times,
and the bad times,

I'm losing my beauty sleep because of you!

No prince to wake me from this nightmare,
no kiss to bring me back to life
without you I'm dead inside
trapped in a simple dream

Amazing! This could be one of my favorite pieces of poetry. It was well written and beautiful! I can easily relate to this and it is full of heartahce. The title was clever as well. I am shelving this one
