Beauty Lies Within

Beauty should be true to you.

"Beauty is in the heart of the beholder"
no newspaper,
fashion magazine,
or person can tell you that you're not beautiful
because beauty lies within
people can say a certain
body type is beautiful,
but as long as you love yourself
you shouldn't care about
other people's perception of beauty
as long as you believe
that everything about you is beautiful
because beauty lies within

I liked this poem. I agree with you. "The beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", but not everyone can see that. I think that if they were able to see it then they would feel beautiful. Mostly beauty is in the heart. It doesn't matter what you look like. I loved this poem. Thanks for sharing?

I liked this poem a lot because it's so true. Why do people only look at you on the outside, but never on the inside? Your personality is what's beautiful. You can be beautiful, but have the worst personality which gives you know beauty within. Very truthful poem I enjoyed reading! :)
