We've known each other for years
And I've never felt this way before...
About anybody.. except for you..
We understand each other,
We laugh at each others lame jokes
We make fun of each other for the stupidest things
We have a deeper connection...
You belong with me
I actually care about you
Unlike her
The fact that you're captain of the football team
Just proves a point..
That she only likes you for what you have
Instead of for who you are...
But not me, I loved you before you could throw a football
That's why you belong with me
I love you more and more each day,
Why can't you understand
that you belong with me?
Me, the one who actually loves you...
Can't you see that I'm the one who understands you
Been here all along so why can't you see?
You belong with me
Because I love you like a bee loves nectar
From the beautiful flower that you are

One little nit: in the third line did you mean to put

'accept' or 'except"?
