The Dance

I see you from across the room,
it's as if the music stopped
and there's no-one else
but me and you
you make your way
through the crowd
just to say hello... and...
"Can I have this dance"
I say yes
and it feels like I'm a princess
dancing on my tower
and you must be my prince
because I feel like I'm on
top of the world
we never say a word,
just dance,
and look into each others eyes

Oh how I loved the dance!
