Mouse Trap

Mouse Trap

A Poem by Tasha

I've been stuck in this trap

Time and time again,

Thinkin' things will be different

But they are all ways still the same

Is it me, for believing in you?

And the things you say

I feel like a cute little mouse

Dogging the kill every time

Because my minds says go,

And my heart says stay,

I don't want to be the one

That continues to go for the

"Good Cheese"

I'm tired of this mouse trap,

I just want to roam freely

The idea is good, but I have a difficult time reading past simple grammatical mistakes and mistypings, so I didn't get very far...sorry :/
And as bitchy as that sounded, I didn't mean to sound bitchy.

By now you are aware of your mistakes. Sooooo let's talk about the meat of your writing. Talking about something a time or taper have all been stuck in a trap. Nice Work.

I love the idea of the situation being like a mouse stuck in a trap. There are a few spelling mistakes, but I think some of them might've been typing errors. Apart from that, it was a brilliant write.

Apart from the spelling errors found in there, I really enjoyed this piece. I have a feeling that a lot of people feel this way, and even though they know they're stuck they can't get out. This poem was full of emotions and I think almost everyone can relate to this in some way. Thank you for writing!

I like this. some spelling errors but if you look past them a good poet is sitting there.

Aside from some misspelled words and a few mistakes in grammar, it was a good example of putting one's feelings into words. We all want to believe in that certain person, hoping things will turn out better the next time round, when in truth, it isn't within our control to change them. If we feel trapped in a relationship, we should get out of it. No use in staying with someone who does not allow us to be free. I've often wondered how it was possible, really - to be in a committed relationship, and be free at the self-same time. Seems like a paradox to me. :)

so so true...a lot of the time we force ourselves to stay "for love"...it's never worth it
