by the way tasha...do not give up writing. It is in your soul and is something you were possibly meant to do. I stopped writing for a long time and just now at 39 am getting back into it and feel i wasted half my life when if I had just stuck with it and pursued it back then, my gosh...how far I would have gotten by now...

It s amazing how we can write a little and it can say a whole lot and I love this piece. It made me feel sentimental

i don't normally read anything with more than 800 words, as you well know, but i had to visit this one because you have been absent and talking about giving up writing. i must say that your "thousand words" seemed much shorter than that although it speaks volumes. i can promise you this, dear poet, if you give up writing i will have a thousand words to convince you otherwise...you have a gift here....use it!

it is called a slump, my darling friend, and we all get them...i have gone months without inspiration....always come back. and as for you bot being as good as before, that is simply not true. do you not remember me telling you some time back that your poetry had vastly improved? i remember when i first met you on here, you were just getting warmed up and learning something from every writer you read and chatted with. we all learn from each other nad we all have periods of block....no exceptions!
