Today for me was a bad day so I'll write a poem to express what I want to say to a heart barker...
Heart, the heart is an organ in everyone's body.
The heart is also where all the feelings heat like a lightning strike...
If you break something you can glue it back and just let it dry.
An organ can be replaced or have a surgery. But the heart is different...
It kills you, makes you feel a pain that no surgery or glue can fix this and by the end it kills you inside.
Never understood when they tell me to listen to your heart,
I was trying to literally hear but the only thing I had to do is to feel,
feel the emotions that heat every part of my heart.
There is a way though to fix the heart,
TIME is the only key.
My brain thinks differently than my heart,
sometimes there are both correct in their way but at the end the heart tells us what we don't want to do but it's correct and the brain what we think is the best for us.
We all broke someone's heart or someone broke our heart, even if we don't admit it.
The thing is, do we still keep that person?
In the end is all about getting hurt, moving on and finding new love
Danai,
Your endearing poem is so very deep, so very wise, written with poignant understanding, and your feelings emotionally touch all through my being.
Love, sometimes, is difficult, painful, and confusing, while other times it is more blissful, glorious, enthralling, and satisfying than anything else.
One does not wish to think of a lovely-hearted lady, who can compose such sincere and honest poetry, to be hurt by love, but what you've said happens to most all of us, and with this knowledge and experience, I surely and truly relate with the depths of your own pain and other sensations, as I, too, continue the quest for new love to fill this empty hole left by the last.
I love the talented poetess you are, Danai, how completely and sincerely you've taken me from my world to your own, with the power of your amazing poetical skills … you have wondrously touched and stirred me.
Thank you so very warmly, Dear Lady-Poet, for sharing the real You! ⁓ Richard
