Windows

A Poem by Lydia Jamison

If you keep your window open,
I will gladly creep inside.
I will fade into the darkness.
We will slip away and hide.

Underneath these bedsheets,
Make of silk as white as snow,
We are sleeping out of their sight,
Where no one has to know.

And though my heart may wander,
It still comes back to you.
So I will keep my window open,
If you keep yours open, too.

Cute poem. I thought you said you weren't boy-crazy! Well it's a good description of your feelings and I love the flow of the lines. I love the last stanza and the way it ties the piece together. Nice write!
