This coffee cup slogan does not amuse him as he sips down the velvet bean-juice. Just sip, baby, sip. His mind flirts with the idea that his drink would taste so much better with a few scoops of dimpylate. Confession to Frontal Lobe: whenever he sees his dog sleeping quietly he stares at this dusty pink collar "ONE SIZE FITS ALL, BE FREE OF FLEAS." and he just gets so jealous. This life of early mornings and chicken dinners does not amuse him as he sits on a park bench. Just sit, baby, sit. With one igniting thought of escaping, there is a popping behind his eyes. It's the sound of your tongue clicking on the roof of your mouth mixed with thirty-eight atomic bombs. It is impossible to escape from here so just get used to this coffee and park bench. Just sip, baby, sip. "SAFE PARK OF FAMILY, FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS." Squirrels flirt with the generosity of old woman and parents watch their children feed into jealousy. He watches a small boy cry; Why can everyone else get new sneakers but me? Confession to Frontal Lobe: The only thing keeping him from his dreaded life of no sex, chicken dinners, lack of kisses, scentless, december-loving, cold bed sheets, empty compassion filled marriage
is a cup of coffee. That great big hug for his sweet tooth. © 2009 Madison Black |
