My Commentary on Social JudgementA Poem by Daniel AffsprungKind of a throwaway, im not sure how i feel about it.
Man's house is one built on temptation and lies,
Our nature dictates it must always be so. Impatience and vice cloud our imperfect minds, We cannot help this, for it's all that we know. For we humans are not creatures made for change, Much though we would have this illusion be true, Our devices are slowed by secular chains, From one way to another we can't freely move. Even these, my complaints, are classically flawed, I seek not to alter the paths walked by you. I can only desire your horizons be broad, That you may see which of your paths are true. Repentance for all is a hope I have lost. The truth, it seems, is hard to swallow. The narrow path, walked at ones worldly cost, The life of the Fathers, a challenge to follow.
