Here and NowA Poem by Daniel AffsprungA poem/set of lyrics i wrote a while back
Here and Now i see my way, through the endless sands of time,
Here and Now i see my path, towards a point too far to find. Am I scared to see my future? Just enough to keep my stride. And as i walk into the danger, i find my fear's too hard to hide. As my steps ring through the silence, i think of all i left behind. All the choices that I made, second guessed within my mind. The fork appears on my horizon, moving forth in perfect tide, When i reach it, my steps halt, i put down my head and cry. To turn back, I'd be a coward, with nothing to show for this time gone. The road ends in sight before me, suddenly i start to run. At the end of my life's path, there my final battle's won. Take the leap, no hesitation, soldier on into the Sun.
