Gordon Brown finally does us all a favour

 

 

Last week brought us the news that had been on everyone’s minds, well maybe not if your part of the labour generation who generally don’t give a s**t about how your country is run and prefer to spend your time bunking off school and trying to get served for f**s in the corner shop where you claim to “ know the guy who runs it”. I am of course talking about the general election, possibly the biggest election since 1997 when Tony Blair somehow blagged his way into number 10 Downing Street.

 

 

Are the mainstream parties (Labour, Tory’s and Lib dems.. yes they are classed as a mainstream party no matter how little support they get) really out to help people or are they just power mad money hungry upper class snobs who think there above the law and can basically take the piss by claiming everything they can for expenses then getting in trouble then using tax-payers money to appeal? Are our MP’s really bothered about how live our lives? Have most of them ever experienced real life? And I’m not talking about taking offence because someone didn’t agree with what they said or did but then going home to their 6-bedroom luxury houses then popping down to their other house down the road which they have ILLIEGALY bought. I’m talking about the real life of the British People. Our humour. Our values. What concerns us. The answer is most defiantly not. Half of them don’t know the feeling of coming home from a PROPER day’s work where you’ve earned just enough to put food on your table and then picking up a tabloid and reading that a large chunk of your hard earned cash is going to pay for prisoners luxuries because if they don’t get what they want it’s a breech of their “Human rights”.  What we need is a government who will promise to bring basic morals back in British society. We don’t want a government like the current labour party who haven’t got a pair of bollocks between them (excluding Harriet Harman who is most defiantly a man) but you know what I’m getting at. We don’t want a government who makes it very clear that unemployment rates are raising and therefore less jobs are available but continue to let any tomasz, dick and Mohammed into our country and are more than happy to fund their living while they struggle to learn English ( this is not a racist punt.. it’s the truth). Immigration isn’t a bad thing if controlled properly. Who else is going to do the jobs we hate and are not willing to do while a guy from Poland is willing to work for very cheap and do a good job? Anyone who says immigration is all bad needs to think about what would happen if everyone who isn’t English went home to their countries of origin. The country would come to a standstill and half the people that they say they want to work and complain about migrants taking their jobs (yes I’m talking about white British people who just think it’s cool to have 20 kids and bring their kids up on benefits) are just clueless on the issue. Immigration is not bad, we just have a government who doesn’t have a clue how to control it, therefore leading problem after problem and then there to scared to do anything about it or even speak about because there scared of being branded a “racist”.

 

 

This actually leads to another one of my complaints of the current bunch of clowns who are meant to be leading by example. Two words Political Correctness. This is a cancer eating away at the way we live our lives and our normal everyday language but now all of a sudden without consulting anyone it’s deemed as offensive! Do these people who make up these silly PC rules even know what is and isn’t offensive? No they don’t, they have no clue what so ever, all they are concerned about is people getting sued because common sense has seemed to have gone out of the window ( which should only be open to a certain point or it will go against health and safety rules). It seems that we have lost our national pride because of the fear of “ offending someone”, I can tell you now that no-one I know is offending by  an English person showing how proud they are of their country, or using the world “ Black” to give a description of someone. The truth about the PC brigade is that they are taking the fun out of life by banning anything that is risky, isn’t that what makes most things funny? Personally I wouldn’t care if they made fun of English people, they have done it on family guy and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. In my opinion there is nothing funnier than seeing your own stereotype being taking to the lengths that such shows as family guy do, because it’s true that most stereotypes come from somewhere. I‘m very sure that someone didn’t just make up a stereotype for every single group of people in the world, I’m not saying all stereotypes are true but most of them are very funny and sometimes very positive IE Jewish people are good with money. And I’m sure someone who supports or agrees with the PC brigade is going to either accuse or ask me this so I will get it over and done with now. NO I am not a BNP supporter I never have been and I never will, I will explain the reasons for that later. NO I am not a racist I just know what real life is like instead of making silly pointless rules that no-one wants. And finally NO I’m not filled with hate… I actually quite like talking to different groups of people its very interesting so before you accuse me of any of them as you often say “ don’t judge people before you get to know them”.

 

 

Well for any of you who aren’t either aren’t living in Britain or haven’t been for a long time you will think that I’ve covered everything about this mess we are in. Well I can tell you that that is not correct. We also have the small matter of crime. If I had to sum it up quickly I would say it’s out on control. Ok so the fact that people do bad things isn’t actually the governments fault, but what is there fault is the pathetic sentences that are handing to them and the freebies that are received when they are being “punished”. Keeping kids out of trouble is a hard task, always has been and always will be. Gordon Brown doesn’t know normal British kids, going to a school once in a while and talking to kids who have been told exactly what to say by their teachers because they are being interviewed on TV then going away thinking everything is fine is not a true reflection on what British kids are like today. I see kids out everywhere and not all kids are bad, not by any stretch of the imagination, but the more kids get told about how things such as drinking is dangerous and should not be done its only going to make them want to try it more. Anyone ever heard the phrase “Monkey see Monkey do?” well that is what we are dealing with, the more we expose and tell our kids about these things the more they are going to find out at a early age what its like. I don’t know if I’m being weird here but when I was 12/13 I wasn’t even thinking about sex, drink and the rest, I think I was more concerned about becoming a professional footballer at that age, hey we can all dream? The point I am getting at here is if our young generation are going to be hearing about how good prisoners are treated and the luxuries and “ Human Rights” they are getting, the more they are going to be ok with going to prison and re-offending when they get out. Crime is a problem. Let’s sort it together.

 

 

 

Sorry to keep everyone reading and by now you are going to have a opinion of what sort of person I am, whether you agree with what I’m saying or thinking that I’m talking out my arse and are just picking faults with things that cant be solved, that is fine. I believe that everyone should have their own opinion and if you wish to review this piece ( or should I say essay) then I will be more than happy to read your honest opinions of what I have wrote so far, I can assure I will listen to you all.

 

 

Before I leave you all in peace I would just like to say how bad Health and Safety has got over the new labour era. I don’t know what experiences you have had with this problem, but I just feel that the fun has been taken out of life because of it. The health and safety brigade or as they are often referred to as “The fun Police” aren’t as bothered about your well-being as much as you might think. Their main priority is “don’t get sued” which is why we have all these silly signs telling us what not to do. Anyone with half a brain-cell will work out that Nobby’s Nuts will have nuts in them hence the name “Nobbys Nuts” and that if you are allergic to nuts they you will stay very clear away from them. And if people are really wanting to cause harm to themselves IE Being allergic to nuts and taking consuming a large amount of nuts, do you really think a sign that states the damn right obvious is going to make them think twice? No neither do I. These signs are up so companies don’t get sued and if they receive a complaint they can just say “Hey we warned you, we put up a sign”. Partly to blame for this Health and Safety era is the people who are trying to sue companies for things that are quite clearly there own stupid fault. Remember back to when you were a kid and you were climbing tree’s, if you climbed up a certain way and fell and hurt yourself your parents would tell you how stupid you were and I can almost assure you that you never did the same thing twice.

One thing I must say before I go, please don’t turn to the BNP if you think there policies reflect you sorry but you are most likely wrong. Even after 13 years of Labour the BNP will not make things any better. Extreme Left and Extreme Right are not the key to a good society. If you want change don’t feel like you have to vote for the 3 main parties, vote for what concerns you. Look on websites and read policies and don’t let anyone make your make your mind up on how you will be voting without knowing a good amount about them. So after 13 years of rising crime, lack of discipline, nanny state, political correctness gone mad, health and safety and debt debt and more debt I think we are about due a change.

Living in America, it was good to get insights into your political system, the struggles and interesting philosophy. Helped me see that some of the same or similar things are faced here, and politics continues to thrive often on issues of power rather than service to the greatest needs of society.
