The Traveller,

The Traveller,

A Poem by Daniel Salvatierra

Spirit tired, shoulders taut

Restlessly waning

Coming to rest in a port.

Rich golden sun

A loner, in an undiscovered world.

Something speaks within him

The longer you run

Eyes coloured in shades of blue,

Shades of grey

A smile to break through a thousand walls

A burning fire in her soul

Is this a heart thawing?

Closing his eyes,

Life is changed.

I felt so home with this beautiful piece Daniel. You always touch the core with your writing, true traveller. Sigh... and smiling a lot :)

There is always born a loner in us, we shall never ever, feel grounded to once place, and we just love to run. Life changes so much, especially when arrived into another town, to sniff in the dust of another place, city, and another chapter of the one before, is metaphorically closed, but shall come over as whispers, invisible whispers, at day and night, to where we are now... touching piece.

You have real skills to be somewhere someday.
