Entierro

Entierro

A Poem by Daniel Salvatierra

Carry me,

When the leaves are falling

And the skies ignite

When love crashes down

On my broken bones,

My restless soul

Let your tears fall,

When she runs down the aisle

The moon rising,

And the air is cool

Bury me,

When the world is still

And she’s already gone

In the arms of another

But I’m out of time

'Carry me, ~ When the leaves are falling ~ And the skies ignite .. '

Sadness even in beauty, despair laid before you. Somehow, who knows how, poetry expands emotion but proves cathartic. Perhaps.

Sad for you to watch that and life changing too...I hope things work out for the better...A splendid poem...:)

To watch your love marry another must be a heart wrenching experience, as if being stabbed...the worst part is to feel the twist of the knife when she walks down the aisle.

Well written agony, Daniel.

Ah another one, just so well written... "I feel an Entierro of feelings"

"Your poetry speaks volume, through seasons, love, freedom, and pain in this one"
I think, I can understand how restless you feel...

With this one, there is new hope, new life after been burned and burried, you shall rise
like a phoenix out of the ashes... ;) you write fantastic poetry!
