Two Days in Brighton

Two Days in Brighton

A Poem by Dan Morton
"

This is about an old friend I caught up with recently after about twelve years, it's short but it pretty much sums up our meeting.

"
Darryl sits alone
in a rotting flat
mixing red wine
with Frosty Jack

and he's not
the same boy
I went to school with

For non-UK readers, Frosty Jack is a very cheap, very strong alcoholic cider.

I really like this. I love a poem that is short but well done.
