Black Astra

Black Astra

A Poem by Dan Morton

I might leave a note
on your windscreen.
I'll tuck it under a wiper.
I won't sign it,
(there'd be no point)
but it'll be beautiful
and you'll cry
at such expressions of love.

I'll watch from a secret
corner of your life
and wonder
how it feels
to touch you.

So beautiful, romantic and stalker-y at the same time. I kid about the stalker-y bit, of course. Again, thank you so much for sharing. Another great one to add to my favorites list.

I really like this, the way you write is so simple and powerful. Years worth of feelings in a few words. You seem to see what makes people tick
