Irish Dream

Irish Dream

A Poem by Damon Chambers
"

All I will say about this poem is that it may or may not be about a real person in my life. ;-)

"
For 25 years I have longed for one girl
Whenever I think of her my brain begins to swirl

She has to be my soul mate, I can feel it deep down
When she is in my thoughts I am unable to frown

I finally found her, but rushed way too damn fast
Tried to force all of those feelings we had in the past

In an instant she was gone as fast as she came
Now I just sit and cry knowing it won't ever be the same

But this dream will continue because it's meant to be
If not in this life then the next life we shall see

Very awesome read. I like how your writing flows together, to make me visualize everything that's going on. Many stories on here do that, and that's why most of the stories I read on here are good because you all are very talented and gifted, I visualized everything as I was reading it. Great writing. I was wondering can you check out my story.
