A song I wrote for my girlfriend.

Don't know if cause he's getting older

Sing him a better verse so he can listen for a hint of sin in it

A sinner sitting like a sentenced prisoner

Sick of all of it that's piled up since he was a kid

So he sinks his meds

Of all the glitz and glammer

Working on an acoustic and two singles right now, won't be for a couple months though, maybe late august. Just released Needin' You and that took 2-3 months to finalize. It all really happened actually. The field of fireflies even, we had our first kiss in a trail I knew of that had hundreds of fireflies to either side of us. Was romantic! Thanks for checking it out!

Most Black people of my generation Damien detest Rap....or at least that's what they say until you sit in their cars and find out they listen to JZ or Pac "for the rhythm" they explain. It is an observable, purist orthodoxy that we play with the music of the times, in order to further our own staid inspirational cause. The modern classical purist will listen to anything up until Ravel. The jazz purist insist that nothing was "really created after Miles Davis...etc....but I digress:

Since song is the basis of your love poetry, and since rap is the theorem that you choose to solve
the many notions of passion, I love this. I love it
because it is never aggressively ungenerous and it
