/Verse - 1
(MedD)

Ultra violence
The loud sounds of the sirens
A lonely mom that lost her son
Now tell her, who's her prized one

Corrupted dreams of a fiend
How fucked up a scene to be seen
That's what's up with these city streets
Now bust up the dream to relieve

Synthetic side effects
I'm convinced of the rise of it
Like forgetting the lies of it
Dice fell down and decided it

A higher order has rigged it
Our lives are sold without reason
Some kind of hidden agenda
Now rise up, up from your seats and

We'll begin to take this back
I will lend a hand with my rap
Will you just stand there way back
Or sit down with hands in your lap

Come on
Rise up, rise up
We can end this any day
But you're scared of what you'll lose
And you'll settle for this taste

An infinite distance
Persistent existence
Sentenced to lay, wait, and witness
As they wrong us, ask forgiveness

See a comet, say your wishes
Hope for longer, maybe get this
But you're nothing, we're disgusting
No discussion
Man, forget this.

/Chorus
(MedD)

Have the stars aligned?
Have the Gods all died?
I will cross the line
Setting life on fire

Spinning and spinning
We run in circles
Trying to walk a straight line
City to city

Have the stars aligned?
Have the Gods all died?
I will cross the line
Setting life on fire

Spinning and spinning
We run in circles
Trying to walk a straight line
City to city

/Verse - 2
(MC Koya)

I present a collab
That won't be a fad
Cause this fate
Put me on a better proper endeavor

That I could measure the best of my ability
Like the two stars that we are, we collide
A black void is created in the system

Give a ray of hope
Peacefully listen to those who've left
And they still sound broke

Yet the devil has a compass
And I won't believe to them to be a man

I know the best of it in the system
Respect is given to the dope fiend
Who hadn't been a dope fiend for over 6 months

Pick a pipe and properly write
For we shall slay this trashed pop culture system
And then you can see that this hip-hop game
Will make us rap demi-gods

This b***h is gonna break like the system that it is.

/Chorus
(MedD)
Have the stars aligned?
Have the Gods all died?
I will cross the line
Setting life on fire

Spinning and spinning
We run in circles
Trying to walk a straight line
City to city

Have the stars aligned?
Have the Gods all died?
I will cross the line
Setting life on fire

Spinning and spinning
We run in circles
Trying to walk a straight line
City to city

A tune to a message gives the message a lasting power in the listener. Something they can hum to when running in circles.

I'm glad you could enjoy it John, thanks for reviewing!
To me, this speaks of hopeful hopelessness; people trapped in a rapitude of apptitude gained through the intolerant mercy of the streets with the beats that leave us purple and squashed and sometimes broken. But there's still the stain of who we are, who they were, how we thing about, plan about a walkabout to something that shines a little brighter when it's dark.. so dark. Y'all do good work, MedD.

My pleasure :)
I'm not much into rap but I do keep up with current artists and to me this sounds better than whats out there now. To many of todays artists are a bit repetitive but this spoke to me. The flow is smooth, the lyrics stand out, and its altogether a very nice song!
