In Search Of I... (Writing)

If I stop taking them; the medication that is.

If I enter that world again.

I will be able to manifest writings beyond imagination.

When I go in to another episode, I will be sure to have a pen in hand.

I must debate this for some time...

Entering that world, means losing everything in this one...

Again.

Would my new found love tolerate such intensity?

I couldn't bare to lose her.

What if this world no longer contained my sanity...

What would my daughter do without her father?

Is the reward worth the risk?

Should I choose to rise as my mind falls?

creativity and sanity( or insanity) are inexplicably linked. Sometimes artists complete their best works whilst unwell - but whilst this might bring them some satisfaction in their work it doesn't bring them happiness - hence the phrase ' suffered for their art'. We all go through times of having absolutely nothing to write - it doesn't mean we have lost our edge - just mislaid it for a bit. A very interesting write - I don't think I have read your work before - I'll try and a get a look at the rest
