LOSTA Poem by Damien ThibodeauxMy first attempt at this one was total failure. My brain was scrambled. Thanks to Rita for gently giving me her honest opinion I took it down. I finally got around to re-writing, so here it is.LOST As I’ve walked this path It’s taken me to many places Now it leads me Through darkness
Searching for something lost Or maybe something just misplaced Will I find you? Can’t find you
Looking for a key that unlocks your heart to me ‘Cause I’ve been locked away for far too long I’m standing underneath your window in the rain This lost feeling now replaced by pain And you’re not home
As I’ve wandered on Traveling to anywhere or nowhere To nowhere
These days turn into nights And stars are shining not so brightly Light my candle Light my way
A star falls every time a lover says goodbye Seems all these stars come crashing down on me Regretting all the words we left unspoken All it’s done tonight is leave me broken Now I’ve lost you
